Dramatic B&W (I ♥ Faces)

This week's them on I ♥ Faces (http://iheartfaces.blogspot.com/) is Dramatic B&W.

Another theme that I kind of struggled with... becuase I have some great dramaic b&w shots... but they dont have people in them!!! :o)

So I found this one of Mike and I and Tink from way back in 07.

I was trying to remember the circumstances of this... and all I remember is the beautiful weather (it was in the mid 60's in Dec.), the feeling of being content with my husband and my awesome dog. 
I was very surprised when the photo turned out too, becuase I held the SLR  up above us and snapped it. Gotta love photos like that!!!!

This pic was taken at a park at the beach when we went last year for Miss Madi's birthday.  I was standing on the ground looking up at Madi while she took in the view.  Its kind of a funny face she has going on... but that's Madi!

An Indoor Shoot

Since I dont have a studio or even a good backdrop for indoor photos, I dont do many indoor shots.
On this day, Madison was sooo thrilled with her cheetah outfit that she begged for me to take some photos of her... but there was about 2 feet of snow on the ground.  So we tried a little something different for the background.

Trying a new effect on my pics... a kind of a color wash... as always, Madi the model was more than happy to pose!  Not sure if I like it... but its something new anyways! :o)

While we were in the Mountains, we had a few impromtu photo shoots!

I mean, how could we not... Madi was looking so cute, and the view was simply gorgeous!

 

 

I love outdoor photos, so as we get closer to Spring, I can't wait to do some more shoots.

I have a few shoots for friends and family coming and I'd love to do some more!

Just thought I'd post some random shots.

This was a picture from a railway in the mountains of Northern PA... we had a great trip their this past fall!

 We met this character along the road! He gladly posed for some of my crazy pictures!

I just really enjoy this picture!! 

This is really close to the PA Grand Canyon... it might even be the Canyon... but I'm not sure.

Either way, its pretty! :o)
